Language in the Information Society
LYS (Language in the Information Society) is an interdisciplinary research group officially recognized by the University of Corunna (code G00079) and the Regional Government of Galicia (code 08IDI0631). It is formed by professors and researchers from the fields of Linguistics and Computer Science who have long been working in the area known as Computational Linguistics, Natural Language Processing and Language Engineering. 8 and 9 July 2010 will be held in Santiago de Compostela the Seminar on Corpus Linguistics organized by Rede_Corpus, the Galician Network on Corpus Linguistics, in which the University of Corunna is represented by the LYS Group. 28 August 2010 will be published the book by Carlos Gómez-Rodríguez entitled Parsing Schemata for Practical Text Analysis (Imperial College Press/World Scientific, ISBN 978-1-84816-560-1).
